Rhyming starts in the ear, not in the spelling. Cat and hat share their final sound; cake and snake do too, even though one word begins with a single consonant and the other with a blend. These sheets therefore move between pictures, spoken words and printed endings instead of treating rhyme as a list to memorise.
Five kinds of practice
Picture matching is the gentlest start because a child can name each drawing aloud before touching a pencil. Word-family pages isolate the shared ending. Odd-one-out sheets require listening to every choice. Cut-and-paste pages add a physical sorting task. The final kindergarten group keeps the directions short and the marks large.
Use the answer page as feedback
Every activity PDF has a second page with the correct pairs or choices marked in green. Let the child finish the first page before turning it over. A mismatch is most useful when the two words are said slowly, with the final sound stretched just enough to hear what changed.
English and Spanish are separate activities
The Spanish files are not translated English rhymes. They use native pairs such as gato/pato, ratón/botón and luna/cuna, because rhyming depends on sound and the sound system changes with the language. Print the language the child actually speaks during the activity.
All thirty activities use original deterministic line drawings, print cleanly in black and white on A4 or US Letter, and require no account.
