About Us

Class Doodle is a small independent project run by Iris Calder, an illustrator who kept being asked for "something to keep the children busy that is actually worth doing". The answer turned into this site: printable learning activities with real drawings on them, free to download and print, for as long as the site exists.

There is no company behind it. One person plans each collection, draws every illustration, writes both language versions and reads every message that arrives through the contact form. That is exactly why the sheets stay free, unwatermarked and pleasant to use.

How each sheet is made

Every page starts as a drawing, not as a template with a picture dropped into it. The illustration carries the task: the ducks to count are drawn as a pond scene, the letter to trace sits inside the object it names, the shapes to colour build a picture when they are finished. Then the instruction line goes on top, in one short sentence, in type large enough to read across a table.

Each finished page is exported as pure vector artwork so it stays crisp at any size, and it is printed on paper at home, in black and white, before it goes live. If it comes out grey, cramped or confusing on real paper, it goes back to the drawing board rather than onto the site.
