Pick the page by what the child needs to practise. For letter names, the pages with a capital and a small letter together (A, G, M, R and X) let you point at both forms and say they are the same letter. For lowercase recognition, f, l, q and w print the small letter alone, beside a flower, a lion, a crown and a whale. For visual scanning, the hunt grids for C, I, T, Z and Ñ hide the red target letter among grey ones, and the child colors each one they find.

D, J, O and U put a large drawing in the middle, a dinosaur, a jaguar, an orangutan and a unicorn, with the letter repeated in all four corners. That suits children who would rather color an animal than a letter. E, K, P and V set a tall capital next to an elephant, a koala, a penguin and a violin. B, H, N, S and Y arrive with their capitals pre-filled in purple diagonal stripes; from a black and white printer the stripes come out as grey hatching that children can color over.

How do you use alphabet coloring pages in a classroom?

Give each child the page for the letter of the week and ask them to name the picture before they color it. Hang the finished pages in alphabet order along a wall, and by the end of term the class has built its own alphabet frieze. The three review pages work as a quick check on A, M and S.

The Ñ page is there for bilingual classrooms and families who speak Spanish at home.

Each PDF is a single portrait page on US Letter. On A4, choose Fit to page in the print dialog and nothing is lost. For pencil practice with the same drawings, the letter tracing worksheets add dashed guides inside each capital, and the learning coloring pages section collects every set like this one.
